5K Run
2 Mile Walk

Friday: 3-7pm
Saturday: 3:30-4:45pm
No parking allowed in the park on Saturday, see parking map below

RUN/WALK START
5pm on Saturday. All participants should exit the pavilion and line-up by 4:55pm.
There is only room for 2 port-a-potties so plan accordingly and don’t wait until 4:55 to hop in line.
A Madison Fire Dept. engine will lead the participants around the pavilion, down the hill and over the bridge (stop at Grandmother’s house if you want to). A Ryan Bros ambulance will follow the last participants to the bridge. Wave to the news cameras as you pass them at the start of the race. (Channel 27 WKOW TV will be kicking off the run).

COSTUME OR FESTIVE DRESS?
We are handing out glow necklaces but everyone is encouraged to wear holiday apparel or ugly sweaters. If you have battery operated Christmas lights, wear them. You are encouraged to wear a head lamp and/or reflective clothing.

THE AFTER PARTY
The after-party starts at 5:30 and goes until 8pm. Anyone can enter the pavilion but only those with race bibs can access the food and drinks. You will need your ID for beer. We will serve Miller Lite and a craft beer (TBD). There will be entertainment from DJ Midas Efx. This years food is a Nacho Bar which include chips, ground beef, nacho cheese sauce, black beans, jalapenos & avacado-lime crema.

PARKING
There are several parking lots and side streets to park, outside of Olin Park. You cannot park in Olin Park. If you park off Olin Ave., there is a bike path that runs along Wingra Creek and goes under John Nolen Dr. This is the easiest way to get to the park.

The best place to park on Saturday is the Madison Parks lot on E Lakeside St. Just walk towards the park, cross the bridge, go to your left and follow the bike path up the hill next to the lake. There is no parking allowed in Olin Park on Saturday. On Friday, you can drive up to the top of the hill to park but you cannot drive down the walkway to the pavilion. If we missed something, email us at info@mymadisonevents.com and we will add it here.
